Flamencadelics - This was a band I headed up in Austin Texas. A fun bouncy collection of life music combining Latin beats and watery guitar effects, driving metal/latin Bass, down beat drums mixed with upbeat Congo’s, and great mariachi horn work. This album is uplifting and fun, totally instrumental, live so a few mistakes, and likely nothing like you have ever heard before. It will put a smile on your face and a bounce in your hips.
Some of the tunes are romantic, some bluesy, soft and gentle, furious and fun. What is also interesting is if you listen to each instrument they are playing in different styles (metal / latin bass on top of up beat congas?) , and yet it all works beautifully. Try it out and enjoy.
